Stool & Object

Through a study of material contrasts and a reinterpretation of industrial building objects, the use and context of the materials change to highlight their inherent qualities and values. With deliberate disrespect for the well-established materials of the furniture industry and their intended use, the intention is to create unique furniture and objects that build a bridge between the world of architecture and design.

The stool and the object are constructed of shortened pipes from the construction industry and assembled by threaded rods, which are held in place by nuts in two directions. In contrast, the construction is completed with a solid ash top plate.
